The Topeka Model United Nations is a two day simulation in Topeka, Kansas, designed for assigned student delegations to represent their country's point of view on a variety of topical issues. The simulation is designed to encourage debate, foster cooperation, and assist young leaders to resolve problems diplomatically.

An Organization for World Peace
 
Established 24 October 1945, the purpose of the United Nations is to bring all nations of the world together to work for peace and development, based on the principles of justice, human dignity and the well-being of all people.

Think Globally, Act Locally

The United Nations affords the opportunity for countries to balance global interdependence and national interests when addressing international problems.
